About fucking time...
Skull finally has like 2 fucking free minutes to actually update this crap.... which is lovely....
Rough damn month - far, far too much on the go to get into here and now....
highlights feature:
Maiden in To ........this makes three, for those of you who may be counting.....and is at least the second best viewing, if not the first. It was pretty fucking amazing - maybe they will simply get bettter and better everytime I go to see them.....this show was just so fucking good - everyone was so on top on thier game; they just played so well - and the whole new album no less which I've come to love more and more everytime I listen (which was quite a bit as I don't think I've purposefully listened to anything else for about a month)....so good...and I was so close....and that metal guy was so pretty....I mean - nothing.... ; )
Leslie interviewed me today for a folklore paper about seeing them a bunch - and it was lovely; I probably could have talked for hours - fuck. maiden. metal. someone encouraging me not to shut up. what more could a girl ask for?
This past weekend was also pretty fun. As anyone who's ever seen me would know, I love Halloween. The costumes and fun and evilness and tricks and treats and skulls and bats and vampires and everything that is awesome in the world in one fun holiday. Sadly tomorrow is the day itself and I am working a shift at hmv that will prevent me from teh handing out of candy = ( .......but I will be festive at school tomorrow and I will go see swords after the mall closes and then Kate and I will watch Halloween, because we have to! but this past weekend was the celebratory drinking party of the holiday and I had a pretty fantastic time........possibly due to or possibly in spite of my pantless state ; ) I saw most of my local friends over two days and that was lovely - some who have been scarcely encountered as of late, and that was even better again..... John wins the prize for best costume - what a fucking awesome Edward Scissorhands he made (and for giving me a shirt that only needs to be moderately altered - thanks again); Nancy also looked fantastic (sewing-prodigy that she is - I was highly impressed).....
And today was good - GiC did not fuck me; and I was festive; and leisurely talked to some wayward friends........still more ont eh list, but I swear I am getting there....and watched 3 episodes of the original british queer as dolk, courtesy of teenwolf (no hugs I promise)
There has also been a fair bit of stress and issues and fucking shit lately too......which I am not really of a mind to go into, but it's all left me pretty dissillusioned with and ambivilant towards school - I think I have come to realize that it is not ultimately worth what it has been demanding of me........I don't know where than leads at this point...but I guess we will see...
At any rate then, it is very late and I have a long day to contend with tomorrow.....I hope my update was not too crappy.....
